This is my Southern china. It belonged to Miss Christine Vaughn, a very dear lady who passed away in the 1980's. There is a scholarship in her honor in the town where she was from.
This lovely set has been in my family since then and now belongs to me.
I think it works well here at Rosebriar Cottage to have old china with roses on it.
It is actually a mix of Lipper & Mann's Pompadour Rose and a few other pieces. Egg cups are a superb way to enjoy the morning breaking of the fast.
